Michael joined Chomley Family Law in 2020 following a period in private practice on the Gold Coast and in Newcastle. Michael completed his Bachelor of Laws at James Cook University before qualifying for a Graduate of Legal Practice at the College of Law. He has practiced in Family Law, Criminal Law and Domestic Violence Law following his admission.
Since being admitted as a Solicitor, Michael has represented clients nationwide including appearing in the Family Law Courts throughout Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia.
Michael’s approach of settling matters outside of the Family Law Courts provides a pragmatic and cost-effective solution to his clients faced with the difficult and sensitive process of separation. Where an out of Court settlement is not possible or not appropriate, Michael has demonstrated a high rate of successful outcomes for his clients when appearing in the Family Law Courts at trial.
