Joanne Bragg is a Family Law Accredited Specialist with a Master of Laws in family law.
Having completed a Bachelor of Laws with Honours at the University of Tasmania in 2009 before completing a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and being admitted to practice law in the Supreme Court of Tasmania in August 2010.
Joanne joined Chomley Family Law following her relocation to Maroochydore, after working as a solicitor and barrister in Tasmania for 10 years. Joanne brings with her experience in many legal areas with past focuses being primarily on commercial, property and family law. Her empathetic approach to clients enables her to provide advice unique to each person’s circumstances, with a focus on reaching resolutions through methods best suited to the particular needs. Joanne is experienced in both mediation and litigation practices and will assist clients engage in the method most likely to achieve the desired result.
With a lifelong passion for learning, Joanne completed her Master of Laws in family law in 2020 and received the Sandra Paul Memorial Prize for the best graduating student in the family law program.
Joanne spent her early years on a dairy farm in Tasmania and has lived in rural areas, regional towns and cities, giving her access to and experience with working with a wide range of people. Outside of work Joanne loves to run, relax on the Sunshine Coast beaches, hike, cook, read and spend time with her family.
